Paper to Make Music Roll
By Steve Bentley

Neither is it easy to make a punch (perforator) nor to put the
holes in the right place. You have to have the machinery at hand
and a good amount of skill to make a "punching" device.

The holes are easy to place in the area desired as notated, say,
from the music. You have to have some reference point which is
music as written, either by the person or someone else, but it only
just begins there. One perforation for "each" note, as we all know,
is not enough to make a satisfactory music roll.

I need not go on to elaborate on this subject -- all of us know
what a music roll looks like. I cannot see why this subject has
anything to do with 'paper' in itself.
