John Grant's presentation of Ampico B intensities is remarkably concise
and informative.  However, I think that most Ampico owners could not or
would not be able to discern minute changes in decibels, and that their
criteria for how good a performance is, is whether it sounds okay.

It seems there is a point of diminishing returns regarding slight dB
variances.  If the system is well regulated, old Dr. Hickman would be
happy with the performance...
