I have a newly acquired English Weber Duo-Art.  It's in very good shape
considering a 1980s rebuild.  In poking around to see what needs to be
done, I found a large spring on the left side of the piano floor, lying
just under the expression box.  It's not like the expression springs,
but thicker and more heavy-duty.  There's a screw-eye attached to the
floor to the left of the motor, but no obvious place for the right end
of the spring to attach to the motor or sled.

Has anybody seen this kind of spring?  Is it indeed for maintaining
belt tension, and where might it attach to?  I've felt all around the
backside of the motor for any place the spring might attach.

Last question: The sustain pneumatic bellows will not close all the
way, but gets stopped by something solid that can't be seen.  It's not
the lever, as I've had the pneumatic out of the piano for inspection.
There are no adjustment screws visible to change range of motion on the
bellow.

Is this normal?  It closes to about 40% open.  Thanks for any help on
my questions.
