Another reason the Ampico B might play too loudly is the leather
sleeve pneumatic inside the pump might be leaking.  Test it -- often
the leather becomes porous, and an application of thin rubber cement
and a light dusting of talc will seal it.  Other times the leather
has rotted and requires replacement.
