In 160129 MMDigest Michael Cornfield asked for assistance in
identifying the QRS roll number for a song titled "Am I To Blame".

I don't have the QRS roll, but the correct number is 2343, issued
in August of 1923.  This information comes from the QRS Alphabetical
Catalog issued on January 1, 1925.

The Billings Rollography shows number 2343 as "What'll I Do", waltz.
However, the QRS 1925 catalog shows "What'll I Do" as number 2643.
Billings also shows "What'll I Do" for roll number 2643.

It's possible that Billings misread a faded label of 2643 as 2343,
or perhaps QRS "reused" 2343 for later issues of the popular waltz,
a practice they were known to do.
