I just wanted to add my "2 cents" to this discussion and agree with
Jody's statements about MMD's searchable archives.  In my opinion,
the information built up in the MMD Archives over the years is MMD's
greatest asset and needs to absolutely be maintained.  I am recently
new to the hobby and would not have made it through my first project
without the information I easily located in the archives.  Regardless
of the format MMD takes, the archives need to be preserved.
