There may not be a response because no-one on the list knows the
answer. I know not what others think, but if I know the answer, or
even a partial answer, I will respond. If I do not know, I won't
respond at all, hoping that someone else will help. There are a whole
lot of folks here who know a lot more than I.

I'm not at all dismayed by a zero-response. That just tells me that
I'll have to dig a little deeper to find the answer. I certainly don't
mind a single Digest, in a more-or-less-daily format.

While I fall into the "Old F--t" category, I've been around computers
since my job started to require a proprietary system in the late 1970s.
I was made to learn DOS in 1982, and even still have my copy of Windows
1.0. In my area, we are still made to use either telephone dial-up
modem, which I did until four years ago, or over-the-air service, which
I do now.

The daily Digest is just fine for anyone with a dial-up modem, or even
a slow "almost-high-speed" connection like mine. The format of
services like Facebook is very graphic-intensive, and slows down even
my fairly high-speed connection. I'm not a member of any of the
"anti-social" media, and I have no desire to find out what a bunch of
people I don't know had for breakfast.

Having been a list-owner of two Yahoo groups, and a moderator of two,
in addition, I understand what the moderators of the MMD are up against,
and I think they're doing a marvelous job. Thanks! Please keep MMD
the way it is!
