New Style 165 Music Roll Arranged by Andy Park
By Andrew Lardieri

Andy Park has recently arranged a brand new 10-tune roll for the
Wurlitzer 165 scale, numbered 6873. This roll includes well-known
oldies that even non-connoisseurs of mechanical music know, like
"The Theme From The Pink Panther" and Hoagy Carmichael's "Heart
And Soul".

Lastly, this Park roll is quite special to me because just like
on his rolls #6864 and #6865, I've chosen two tunes for this roll.
They are tune 4, "Row, Row, Row," from the Ziegfeld Follies, and
tune 6, "One O'Clock Jump". The other 8 tunes have been chosen by
Wurlitzer 165 band organ experts Matthew Caulfield of Rochester,
New York, and Glenn Thomas of Belle Mead, New Jersey.

Style 165 Roll No. 6873 (Arranged by Andy Park)

 1. The Charlatan (John Philip Sousa) March
 2. That's Amore = That's Love (Harry Warren) Waltz
 3. Heart And Soul (Hoagy Carmichael) Fox Trot
 4. Row, Row, Row (Jimmie Monaco) One Step
 5. Remember Then (Powers & Ross) Fox Trot
 6. One O'Clock Jump (Count Basie) Swing
 7. The Pink Panther Theme (Henri Mancini) Fox Trot
 8. Count Your Blessings (Irving Berlin) Fox Trot
 9. Incognito Waltz (Ion Ivanovici) Waltz
10. The Smiler (Percy Wenrich) Ragtime

P.S.: My mother loves Andy Park arrangements mostly because they
are very well-arranged and sound almost like someone is singing the
arrangement rather than repeating itself with tons of added complex
burden like Wurlitzer did.
