The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) explains that "small amounts of
ivory" in a piano means less than 200 grams, which they say is "large
enough to accommodate the white key veneers on an 88-key piano." See

https://www.fws.gov/international/pdf/questions-and-answers-african-elephant-4d-final-rule.pdf

The Piano Technicians' Guild (PTG) is the focal point for piano-specific
interpretation of the new ivory trade regulations so the topic will not
be discussed in MMDigest. Ask your piano tuner-tech about local laws
(e.g., New York State transport permits) and watch at http://www.ptg.org/
