FS: Reproducing Pianos in Texas
By Ken Long

A fellow collector, Haden Vandiver, has sold three of his five
reproducing pianos. Two are still available for sale. These pianos
are located just outside of Ft. Worth, Texas. Please consider these
complete and playing instruments. You can also make an offer which
will be considered; however, if not reasonable, they will be donated
to local schools or churches for tax deduction planning.

1. Nice 1926 Steinway Duo-Art XR with matching bench, crazed dark
mahogany case, serial no. 240366. Complete, plays with some expression,
Duo-Art partially refurbished 25+ years ago. The piano is original
with matching bench; restoration would be recommended. Price $2,000.

2. Mid-1920s Knabe Ampico grand 6'4", with non-matching bench. New
bass strings with older restrung steel strings; plays with moderate
expression, some Ampico parts refurbished. Mahogany case finish is
nicely presentable. Price $2,500.

I am happy to discuss these instruments or provide pictures. You may
send an email or telephone me at 214-99one-100nine.
