I just wanted to say a public "thank you" to Bruce Ahlich who
yesterday gave me and a friend a private tour of the Music House
Museum, just north of Traverse City, Michigan.  As a beginner to
the world of mechanical music, seeing the history going back to the
early 1800s and the many wonderful devices they have there was a
real treat.  If you are in the Northwest Lower Michigan area it is
a must-see for anyone who would read MMD.

I have been summering in the Northwest Lower Michigan area (Crystal
Lake) since I was a child, and had never visited the museum.  I know
I'll be back every summer from now on!  Many volunteer opportunities
await me once I retire and spend whole summers in the area.
