Thanks, MMDers, for the many suggestions on the Ampico switch problem.
I found no pin hole leak in the pneumatic, or stiffness in the new
cloth.  I reduced the tension on the brake and this fixed the problem
and also may help in preserving old fragile rolls.  This forum is very
valuable.
