I wondered as well why I had never seen or heard of a Mason & Hamlin
Ampico upright piano.  I knew that Mason & Hamlin upright T-100
Welte-Mignon reproducing pianos existed.

The local player shop (and Mason & Hamlin dealer) explained that
during the years of Ampico production, Mason & Hamlin did not produce
any upright pianos.  That must have been true.
