Interesting listings this day: a couple of totally rebuilt reproducers
(for sale by dealer) and some true rescue pleas, as the pianos will be
junked if not sold!

* 1929 Haines baby grand player piano -- Rochester, NY, $3995 "works
like a champ," Ampico system includes Ampico rolls. No pics, "email for
photos."

* Mason & Hamlin 5'8" Ampico grand player piano -- Columbus, OH;
restored, for sale by dealer, $18,500! Looks beautiful, red mahogany wood
finish, Model A with 20 Ampico rolls.

* Knabe Ampico grand piano 5'4" -- Columbus, OH; Restored, for sale by
same dealer, also $18,500, also red mahogany wood, think Model A type
with 20 Ampico rolls.

* Cunningham player piano, restored -- Ocean View, NJ (New Jersey?)
$1495 upright, looks great. "Walnut cabinet, has been rebuilt by past
owner, looks & plays great. Comes with bench & rolls, can deliver."

* Weber Duo-Art upright, pedal & electric -- Richmond VA, $350. This is
a Metrostyle Themodist Temponamic, pedal & electric (added?) "redone in
'60s at Doerflein piano in Richmond," but looks like original finish;
dark photos.

Okay, now for the "Save Me" pianos:

* Conway Boston player piano -- Owensboro, KY $200. Came with the
house, upright, looks untouched; will be repurposed into a desk if not
sold. Looks like mid-teens, controls include a "Roll Adjuster" (???)
player bench incl.

* Auto-Art (New York) player piano -- Central NJ, free due to house
move. Apparently plays, includes rolls, refinished case light yellow
ribbon grained mahogany, pretty! With bench; style looks early 1900s
(round legs and posts).

* Gulbransen player piano -- Princeton, MA. Best Offer, plain case,
mahogany wood, appears to be circa 1920. Plays and includes 7 rolls
Gubransens are a pain to rebuild, but very easy to pump if done right.

* Chase-Hackley (Muskegon, Mich.) player piano -- Rhode Island $200
OBO. "Exceltone" name? Seller doesn't know anything about it. Looks
untouched, pics not much help! Mid teens? Upright.

Go forth and save a piano! Until next time; Play 'em if ya got 'em!
