My Experience Working At Casino Pier
By Andrew Lardieri

Greetings after a long and extensive hiatus. I received a special
email from Matthew Caulfield asking me to post on Mechanical Music
Digest how my career went at Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach in Seaside
Heights, New Jersey.

First of all, I have been visiting Casino Pier ever since I was
a wee tyke because I have my father's side of the family living in
towns that neighbor Seaside Heights, such as Toms River and Manchester.
Secondly, I have always been intrigued by that carousel and band organ
which is what broadened me to become interested in mechanical music.

So anyway, working at Casino Pier was actually the very first paying
job I've had in my entire life and it has been such a pleasure working
there with a good friend of mine named Risa and getting to choose the
rolls that would be playing on the band organ every two weeks.
