Deidre:  I'm happy to say I've been engaged by the editors of
this Gershwin project (friends and colleagues of mine) to transcribe
Gershwin's rolls for the edition.  My model is George Litterst's and
Artis Wodehouse's excellent two-piano collection, published by Alfred
Music.  The point is provide scores that are both playable and helpful
for study.

This is a very long term project -- estimates are the complete works
won't be done for some 25 years -- but if you look at the website
you'll see that the piano rolls are planned for inclusion.  I agree
they are a very important part of his legacy, and I'm delighted to
be involved.
