My memory of these pianos is somewhat faint, but I do recall they were sold in the Northwest area of greater Chicago.  The "Expression" is a myth.  They were supposed to have full expression only using the Ampico style crescendos.  But as far as I could tell, there were no crescendos present and the concept was impossible, too.

When I visited the sales room, all I could see was an 88-note type piano.  The rest was smoke and mirrors.
