Hi All,  The person selling pieces of Colonel Green's spectacularly
custom-carved and inlaid art-case Steinway Duo-Art grand has a phone
number in his eBay ads.  It is (267) 269-1922.  I called and left
a message but didn't hear back from him.  Anyone curious about the
fate of this instrument, as well as the other 20 or so pianos that
were in the Randolph Herr collection (many of them Steinway Duo-Arts,
including the gutted 9-1/2-foot DR) might as well start there as
anywhere, as the estate heirs don't seem much interested in
discussing the matter further at this point.
