Dispersing Randolph Herr Collection

Ultimately the collection of the late Randolph Herr was offered for
five thousand dollars.  Everything was in pieces.  A dealer did buy
the collection and then sold the pianos to rebuilders in Poland who
will shorten the nine footer into a standard size Model D Steinway.
