Harold Draper asks for photos of the interior of the German Victoria organette. This is a very rare organette that plays 24-key card music on a keyframe at the back of the instrument. The wind supply is most interesting as it doesn't use the conventional bellows system. It has four square pistons acting in wooden cylinders, with the action provided by a Scotch crank. I attach some photos of the interior of mine. A previous restorer appears to have cut the double ended piston assemblies in half and reconnected them with metal plates. Maybe this was to aid a previous restoration?
