Hi,  Does anyone have information on a piano roll player that was
mounted on top of an electric organ of about 1970, or so?  I believe
the manufacturer was A.M.C.  This little unit I have was salvaged by
me some years ago from a Thomas Organ, and I wish to hook it up to play
an electronic keyboard.  The air-operated switches present no problem;
I can make these myself as the originals have mostly been lost and
those that are left are not serviceable, being made in a glued-up
plastic unit.

The only problem I may have is the air valve that allows the internal
bellows to keep the roll on track.  It's  missing and I cannot find any
information on how it may have worked.  There are two rubber tubes that
come out of the roll reader bar, at the very extreme edge of the paper
roll, and would be used to control the position of the roll as it
passes over it through two holes which sense the position of the
paper roll and adjusts it accordingly.

Could some kind person take a photo of this valve If they have one,
please?  I have it in my head that this unit with a nice keyboard would
make a portable 'Pianola' that I could use to entertain my friend.
