Andy Park's Essay "The Shock Absorber"
By Gordon Stelter

Andy Park mentions the type of shock absorber found on automobiles,
the hydraulic version of which (as are on most modern cars) were,
according to something Harvey Roehl told me in the 1970's, invented
by pianist, Duo-Art recording artist, and amateur machinist Joseph
Hoffman!
