<Sigh> Another mechanical music guy fades from the scene.  Several
years ago I used to be in active contact with Ken and I found him
to be a great correspondent.  Then for some reason we lost contact
with each other and I pretty much forgot about him, as life went on.

So today, hearing bout Ken's death, I went to the MMD archives and
reviewed his MMD postings.  He began posting in early January 1997,
and his final posting was at the end of December 2018.  As I read
down the long list of Ken's contributions, I could almost see him
aging as he began selling off his possessions, writing about the
future of mechanical music, and signing himself "Olde Ken Vinen."

It happens to all of us sooner or later.  R.I.P. Ken Vinen.
