I found the Standard players very good, some Aeolians, Hupfeld Phonola
and some Pleyela and, in the end, player actions I have made for Pleyela
grand pianos.  Some instruments were impossible to restore due to the
auto-destruction of the cast metal parts, so I replaced them -- I made
complete new actions which came out very well!  You could pump the
"Ballet Mecanique" without being completely exhausted.
