According to an announcement on Mechanical Music Radio, John Wale, the
founder of j-Omega has retired and sold the operations to another firm.

I had heard that, for some reason not publicly disclosed, John had
stopped shipping his MIDI boards to the USA.  The new firm is resuming
shipments to the USA.  The j-Omega MIDI to Parallel circuit boards,
Parallel to MIDI, and accessories have been widely used, and it will
be nice to have replacements available.
