Recordo Rolls For M. Schulz Player Pianos
By Mike Walter

Hi all, About three years ago (January, 2017) Andrew Barrett of
California posted an article about Schulz Recordo pianos and their
rolls from QRS which were supposed to be 16-step rolls.

I'd like to know a bit more about the rolls (if they looked similar
to half Duo-Art rolls with long chain perforations with perhaps three
or four expression holes being punched at once).

I'd also like to find out if the roll numbers had a letter "A" before
the number (most Recordo rolls had an "M" prefix at QRS).

By the way, is there a tubing diagram that might be available? I'm
in the process of rebuilding a 72-note Recordo that is only 37" deep.

Thanks so very much!

[ The Billings Rollography, Vol. 2, has information about
[ the different roll coding systems and the different Recordo
[ pneumatic systems ("A", "B", "C") found in player pianos.
[ Often there is little correlation, hence much confusion!
