This spring thing brings me a vision of a carousel with a pink pig
designed for kids like me who were afraid of those leaping horses, etc.

Coming from Buffalo, I seem to be thinking of Liberty Park, a smaller
amusement park long gone (I'm not even sure they had a carousel), or 
Crystal Beach, the biggest, most wonderfullest place in the world!
