Unknown Nickelodeon Is Wurlitzer Style I
By Chris Galantine

Regarding Dave Krall's mystery piano -- Dave, the piano in the
Garfield Saloon photo looks identical to my Wurlitzer Style I,
serial number 15177. Mine was made late 1910 or early 1911 since
the Wurlitzer ledger noted it as shipped on 1/30/1911.

The sign's reference to a piccolo is confusing since to my knowledge
these instruments were made with the only mandolin rail, but this is
so early that the term mandolin rail or rinky-tink may not have been
familiar... My best guess.

Also, my piano was only capable of playing a short 5-tune APP roll.
I've added a photo.
