I am working on a proposal to refurbish the steam calliope built by
Arthur Davis that is described on the MMD website here:

The calliope recently made its way to the San Francisco Bay Area.

In researching the calliope I learned that Davis also built calliopes
for the Mississippi Queen and the General Jackson.  The Mississippi
Queen was scrapped.  Does anyone know what happened to its calliope?

The calliope on the General Jackson is out of service, according to
reports found on the Internet.  Does anyone have more details?

Davis also published a catalog of parts and I am wondering if anyone
is aware of other calliopes built from his parts/designs?

I have been in contact with Arthur Davis and he too would be curious
to know more about the fate of his work!
