Please note that you changed my post.  The levers are 1/16 steel
stock with rounded edges and not just bar stock.  Not brass.  In
a past posting about making parts I gave the McMaster part numbers.
It is hard to find in their catalog as they have renamed it several
times.  I believe the McMaster part number is 6511k251 for 1/16 inch
thick by 1/2 inch wide.
