I'm always annoyed when I find non-standard abbreviations used in texts,
and the posting by Jim Spriggs speaking of SM Künstler-Notenrollen led
me to Google that term to find out what SM stands for.  I found lots of
hits for SM Künstler Reproduktionsrolle but no explanation at all of the
meaning of SM or what the two letters stand for.  (I realize Künstler
means "artist" in German.)

Am I the only ignorant one here?
