Violin Pipes For North Tonawanda Style 155
By Dennis Steckley

[ Ref. Shawn Quigley in 200309 MMDigest ]

Shawn, unless you want absolutely identical authentic replacement pipes
(which could be very hard to find), many pipe organ builders could be
able to help you in either of two ways:

1. Many builders (and repair service firms) will have inventories of
used pipe work that might be suitable.

2. Organ builders can also build new replacement pipes.

I imagine your instrument probably has more than 14 pipes (I don't
know), but used or new pipes can be matched in scale, wind pressure
and voicing. Three sources I know of that have large inventories
of used pipework are Richard Schneider at schneiderpipeorgans.com,
Taylor Miller at pipeorgantrader.com, and Milnar Pipe organ at
milnarorgan.com. I have personally dealt with the first two and
found them to be reliable and honest.
