Tuneyville Toy Player Piano Repair
By Tom Sendall

Hello -- I own a Tuneyville Player Piano. I was so taken with
it, I also collected the ice cream truck, choo-choo locomotive
and the "pipe wagon" which all operate on the same principle.

Soon after I got my piano, it stopped working. So I removed
the screws in the back and set to disassembling the case. I was
floored by the complexity of this child's toy!

To make a long story short, the tiny drive belt had broken.
I replaced it with the only thing I had: a small rubber band.
Getting the piano back together was a challenge, but after doing
so the piano worked okay

After a couple of years, the rubber band has apparently broken and
when I have the time and patience, I may attempt a second repair.

These Tomy toys are the only pipe organs I can afford!
