49-key Limonaire Independence Day Concert
By Mike Schoeppner

On Independence Day we took our 49-key Limonaire out into the front
yard and invited all the neighbors to come over for a concert, keeping
a safe distance. We were able to play The Star Spangled Banner and
several Sousa marches for the Fourth. All our neighbors seem to enjoy
(or at least to tolerate) our musical hobby.

I have been wondering how many Limonaires there are in the United
States. If you have one, or know of one, would you email me privately
and let me know? I will tally up the results and send it to MMD in
a couple weeks, but keeping your names and information confidential.

Ours is serial number 3404, built in 1903. The façade is painted in
the original pink color. It rides on a 4-wheel wagon that has appeared
in parades, although we haven't taken it out lately.
