Mark Kinsler asked in MMD 201003 about a band organ that was at
Cleveland's Euclid Beach Park, which closed in 1969.

Three organs were at the park in its later years.  An Artizan
Style A-2 played for the rocket ship ride, but what Mark remembers
fascinating him as a child was probably one of the very large North
Tonawanda Musical Instrument Works organs.

One played for the carousel (Philadelphia Toboggan Co. #19), the
other for the flying pony ride.  Both originally played 87-hole rolls,
although at least one, the carousel organ, was at some point converted
to play 49-hole rolls (the same rolls as the park's smaller Artizan
organ).  Both of the NTMIW organs play 87-hole rolls today.

The carousel organ has been reunited with the ride at Cleveland's
Western Reserve Historical Society.  The organ from the flying pony
ride, its façade replaced with one of a different design, is in the
Sanfilippo collection near Chicago.  I'm unaware of the disposition
of the Artizan organ.
