Snap Action Switch for Aeolian Sting II
By Rick Hageman

An FYI regarding John Tuttle's 'Tips & Tricks' Cherry Switch

Good Morning, All. I wanted to thank John Tuttle and Howard Gustafson
for their recent replies to me regarding my Aeolian Sting. While
researching some issues, I came across some articles that John wrote
regarding the Aeolian "Cherry Switch" and how he approached the
replacement.

Now, as a newbie, I appreciated the detail he provided in modifying
a newer style switch which John used to replace the discontinued
Aeolian one. John suggested using the Cherry (now Zf Electronics)
E13-00E. I decided to buy a few and found through Grainger that the
manufacturer has discontinued this switch. Grainger now has them on
clearance at $1.38 each:

As a point of information, I am not plugging any particular business,
nor do I suggest or recommend one, but rather just letting the
community know that this switch is discontinued and an opportunity
presents itself to put some on hand.

Best regards,
Rick Hageman
