Hello, The Nethercutt Collection museum has a really big Model IV
Hupfeld Pan. This is probably the largest orchestrion in the world.
It is five cases wide, it has two accordions for sure, and at least
10 or 11 pipe ranks, if not even more. See the video at

I heard from somebody that it needs a turbine blower to keep up with
the massive wind loads. Just like the smaller Pans, it has independent
expression for the drums, piano, and different pipework sections.

Is it correct to call this orchestrion a Model IV Pan, or an Excelsior
Pan? I have seen it called both. Does anybody have a specification for
this monster? I am very curious.
