Dance Organ Voices In a Theatre Organ
By Christian Tedesco

Hello, Would it be possible to put registers in a theater organ
that typically only exist in dance organs? In particular, I'd think
it would be interesting to have Jazz Flutes and Vibratones as solo
stops. Panflute pipes could also be interesting to have.

Of course, the ranks would need to be extended to fit the theater
organ's compass, but could the same sound still be achieved?

As a side note, a slight inspiration for this post comes from an
old Facebook thread that stated that apparently the Mortier firm
made at least one theater organ in Belgium with Jazz Flute, Vibratone
and Baxophone, among other standard registers. It was also to have
two accordions. This probably never existed but is food for thought.
