I'm sure there are some MMD folks who remember Ray Siou. Ray passed
away about eight years ago and was the organizer of many roll recut
projects that got a lot of material into people's collections. He often
recut roll types for machines he didn't even own. Maybe you own some
of the rolls he recut. Perhaps you got to talk to Ray on the phone,
or visited him at his warehouse on East 14th Street in Oakland?

Do you have a good Ray Siou story? What did you learn about Ray when
you spoke with him on the phone? What should people know and remember
about him?

I'm doing an article for the AMICA Bulletin about Ray and would like
to hear what you remember about him.
