Can some kind soul please provide the patent number for the device used
to semi-automatically calibrate (set the gap) the Ampico unit valves in
the factory? I remember seeing the patent but did not note the number. 

I believe it worked on the volumetric flow through the valve rather 
than the travel distance of the poppet. Probably only used in late
 production, but I'm not sure of the period of use. 

An archive search here did not find it. I'm pretty sure it's an AMICA
article also, but searching that archive is a bit of a chore.
