Unknown "WIMP" MIDI Decoder Circuit Boards
By Bill Klinger

I am trying to find information on some MIDI decoder and driver circuit
boards made in the 1990s. The only identifying mark says "WIMP." The
main board has a very early AMD D8031 microcontroller chip.

The driver boards connect with ribbon cables and have WIMP_DRV on them.
The instrument was being played with a floppy disk player.
