I am usually somewhat skeptical when a new nickelodeon roll made from
old piano rolls is issued. This year Meliora Music Rolls of Atlanta,
Georgia, issued a new blues roll, called "American Roots Music".

If you ever wanted to hear the blues songs that influenced everyone
from Elmore James to ZZ Top, then this is the roll. Finally a roll that
demonstrates with excellent playing of the early blues that has been
literally the root of the blues.

I was more than pleasantly pleased with this roll. Tim Baxter has done
more than an outstanding job with the help of Art Reblitz, Frank Himpsl,
and Rick Crandall.
