Coinola Spool Frame Maintenance
By Mike Jardin

Reproduco Player Piano-Organ Roll Tracking Problem

In the past, roll tracking never seemed to be an issue on my standard
Reproduco player piano-organ. The holes always just seemed to magically
line up properly.

Yesterday I fired it up and I could not get it to track. There is
a thumb-screw on the right side of the spool frame at the tracker bar
level. It does not move the tracker bar in either direction and the
tracker bar is frozen in place.

Before I pick up the screw driver, or start squirting it with lube oil,
I thought I should ask here if I am missing anything. Is there a hidden
release lever? Any ideas from the group? The spool frame is probably
similar to those found on Coinola "O" roll machines.

Thanks so much!
