I discovered only today that my fellow MBSI and FOPS member Robert
Battiste of Union, New Jersey, passed away on January 20, 2021, at
age 77. Bob was a big fan of mechanical music, particularly band and
fairground organs. He sent me his Fair Organ Preservation Society
dues late last year, so I know he was an enthusiast until the end.
