Fascinating story, I visited the Superscope Marantz PianoCorder
recording studio about 35 years ago and witnessed the Welte
electro-pneumatic ten-roll changer and also the super-duper ultra
high speed PianoCorder cassette tape duplicator. (Jazz pianist
and music editor Jim Turner worked there and gave me the tour, as
I recall.) So after all these years, thanks again for the tour.

An afterthought -- my PianoCorder finally bit the dust and I am
having Nick Morris, of Majestic Piano Works in Ventura, replace the
PianoCorder in our 9' Knabe with a Live Performance LX system (now
called the Steinway Spirio Player Piano.) It's soon to be delivered!
