Broken Aeolian Orchestrelle Feeder Springs
By Kevin McElhone

While pedalling my 1898 Aeolian Orchestrelle recently, one of
the 'gull-springs' which is used to return the feeders after the
down-stroke snapped (see photos at links below). I was able to
buy a brand new spring for a player piano, of the correct 6-inch
size, but it was not strong enough.

Does anyone know of a supplier of these springs in stock, before
we go to the trouble of trying to have a batch made?

Alternatively, if you need a pair of such springs do let me know
as it look like a potential maker has a minimum order quantity to
make the price viable. Thank you.
