Another source for old piano soundboard wood is a piano rebuilder --
the board is already removed, and often the ribs and bridges are
also removed. I have noticed them at a friend's rebuilding shop and it
never occurred to me that they would be excellent for music box boards.

No, I can't get any from that friend, as he has moved out-of-state and
disposed of all that stuff (and I received a lot of great player parts,
rolls, and literature as a result).
