Using Pianoteq to Emulate a Player Piano
By Piotr Barcz

I bet many of you have heard of Pianoteq, the piano emulation
program that works with computer models of pianos to let you
mess with every single aspect of the piano. I've been working
with it some and I actually replicated the 1934 Stroud Duo-Art
player piano that is featured prominently on this YouTube
channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/mechanicmusic45

I obviously couldn't perfectly replicate the sound but with
my friend tweaking a couple specs we got pretty close. I've
attached a segment of a Duo-Art roll that was recorded on the
Stroud. Compare the audio with the audio in the video:

If you have the Pianoteq program and you want audio rendered
with this preset then I can send you the preset file or I can
send you a FLAC file (lossless).
