Motorized Hand-cranked 20-note Organ
By Harald Mueller

Hi; here is what I use: https://youtu.be/purMxYZiTC8
Attachment thumbnail I found this motor by coincidence on eBay.de some 15 years ago. It's a German induction motor with 1300 rpm and a worm gear with ratio 22:1, so I end up with 59 rpm or almost exactly 1 turn per second at the crank, which is a customary speed for crank organs. https://www.hmmueller.de/Pana2022_x1000/photo_2022-03-02_20-46-14.jpg

Attachment thumbnail Of course, I have to switch it off reliably at the end of a roll, otherwise it pulls the paper off the spool. Up to now I have had no problems with this. :-) Regards Harald Mueller
