Piano Rolls Control Motion of Animated Pianist By Piotr Barcz
Proving piano rolls are playable with Concert Creator
There's been a lot of debate over the years as to whether player piano
rolls can be transcribed into playable arrangements without removing
notes or shortening them. With the release (and now the unfortunate
early demise) of Concert Creator we can test this theory and prove
many piano roll arrangements to be playable.
Here are videos made by myself and my friend Remco who runs a great
Synthesia tutorial channel where he prominently features piano rolls
as well as normally sequenced MIDI files.

These videos were all made with piano roll scans. On "Sweet Little
You" I did have to remove one or two notes, and "Fascinating Rhythm"
had a countermelody in the tenor range that I had to remove. Other
than that these rolls have not been altered.
